They woke up with a smile today,
But are now a thousand miles away,
With books in bag; wearing the uniform
They said goodbye to their loved ones at home,

Unaware of what future holds,
They wrote down what they were told,
Unaware that the cowards who stormed in,
Would be punishing them for an uncommitted sin.

This day will haunt us for a while,
And we will surely miss your smile,
Stay strong parents, we are with you,
Don't lose hope, maybe it is just a trial.

And for the cowards:
What did you get by killing a child,
What did you get when a mother cried,
What did you get by breaking families,
Did you embrace your false fantasies?


No, you will not get what you desire,
Instead, you will burn in the blazing fire,
You are mistaken, you have been deceived,
Because you don't get paradise the way you believe.

They woke up with a smile today,
But received a divine invitation,
So they won't stay...
